Every September the Fairlington United Methodist Men’s group holds its annual chicken BBQ cookout in the Church parking lot. This is a great time for friends, family and neighbors to get together for food, drink and good times–as well as a chance to buy a dinner and contribute to FUMM efforts for community outreach. The Board of Lady Managers of Inova Alexandria Hospital partners with FUMM in offering a bake sale of homemade pastries and treats alongside the BBQ. Funds raised through the bake sale go towards the Board’s commitment towards the purchase of a Brevera Biopsy Breast System.
