On Saturday, April 29, 2023, dogs and dog lovers and friends and family came together on the Alexandria Waterfront to participate in the 2nd Annual ALX Dog Walk. The Board of Lady Managers was there in force to keep the dogs and their friends fed with delicious baked goods at our Bake Sale. Walkers had a selection of treats such as homemade biscotti, chocolate chip cookies, 7-layer bars, and more. Doggies had their own homemade treats flavored with peanut butter and whole grains. All proceeds went to the Inova Alexandria Hospital’s purchase of a Brevera Breast Biopsy System, as well as to the chaplaincy program. Look for us next year at the ALX Dog Walk!
